The drugstores of my youth were never like this, filled with isles of commercial products, security cameras hidden in blackened hemispheres on the ceiling and large mirrored sections of wall to show the entire store at a glance.

Nope. What I remember most was the comic book rack in the middle of the store, and the soda fountain along one side, and booths at the back of the store were one could order food.

Progress. Gotta love it.
