Who would have thought that in fourteen years since the last update, the number of valid links would have fallen to nearly zero?
So I've gone through the story here of my metasearch engine, removing dead links, and asking myself, “Self, I thought cool URIs don't change?”
I guess those links weren't all that cool then.
But seriously, most of the companies listed are no longer in business and the sites are now parked domains, waiting for someone to buy the domain name. Twenty years is quite a bit of time and things change.
In fact, the only constant in life is change.
Oh, and taxes, but I try not to talk about that!
